Day Yoga Retreat

Step away from everyday life and enjoy a full day of movement, connection and deep relaxation. The morning is active and energising, while the afternoon invites you to slow down, turn inward and completely unwind.

Morning Session: Extended Yoga Practice

We begin with meditation, breathwork and intention setting before moving into an uplifting Vinyasa Yoga practice.

The class is suitable for all levels, with different variations offered so you can practise in a way that feels right for your body. We finish with a long guided relaxation, leaving you feeling balanced, refreshed and ready to enjoy lunch together.

Shared Lunch

After the morning practice, we will pause for a relaxed vegetarian lunch. Please bring a vegetarian dish to share. Salad, hummus and hot drinks will be provided.

Afternoon Session: Yin Nidra

The afternoon is dedicated to rest and restoration. We begin with a nourishing Yin Yoga practice, holding supported poses for longer to release tension, improve flexibility and calm the nervous system.

The day concludes with a 30-minute guided Yoga Nidra—a deeply relaxing practice that encourages you to withdraw from the outside world and reconnect with yourself. Reiki will also be offered to every participant during the session.

You will leave feeling rested, grounded and renewed.

Pricing

Full-day retreat: £70
Individual session: £35, subject to availability

Who Is It For?

Both sessions are suitable for all levels and abilities. You do not need to be experienced or particularly flexible—just come as you are.

What to Bring

All yoga equipment is provided, but for your comfort and hygiene, we recommend bringing:

  • Your own yoga mat
  • A cosy blanket
  • Warm layers
  • Thick socks
  • A vegetarian dish to share for lunch

Yin Nidra

Carve Out Some ‘ME TIME’

Yin Nidra unites two of the most powerful relaxation techniques:

• Yin – a grounding, deep relaxation practice
• Yoga Nidra – the art of conscious sleep

These sessions are specifically designed to bring you into a state of complete relaxation.

What to Expect

In Yin Yoga, asanas (poses) are held for extended periods, applying moderate stress to the connective tissue in the body, aiming of improving flexibility. It encourages you to slow down, stay still, and be fully present.

Yoga Nidra involves moving from consciousness while awake to dreaming and then to not-dreaming while remaining awake, going past the unconscious to the conscious.

This unique combination of Yin and Nidra allows for deep relaxation, both in mind and body. You’ll leave feeling as though you’ve had a massage, with increased awareness, and equipped to face your thoughts one breath at a time.

Yin Nidra is an ideal counterbalance to stress and stress-related conditions.

During these sessions, I will also offer Reiki to every participant and share empowering stories, reminding you of your inner strength and ability to face the world when you stand in your own power!

Focus

The focus of Yin Nidra is to:

•  Increasing circulation in the joints
•  Gain flexibility on the outside
•  Build strenght on the inside
• Enter a state of deep relaxation

What to Bring

You may wish to bring:

• Blankets
• Blocks and bolsters
• Extra layers of clothing

Unlike other forms of yoga, Yin Yoga (and therefore Yin Nidra) does not generate internal heat. You may find yourself feeling cold after the session, so we recommend coming prepared with multiple layers of clothing.
